Doug Wilder provides companies with part time CFO services to help them effectively manage their businesses. This allows small and medium sized businesses a cost effective way to take advantage of the skills of an experienced CFO. It allows companies to take the next step in using financial information to help run their business and plan for the future. Doug’s clients range from startups to businesses with $20 million in revenue.
He is also a member of SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Business.” He was the Chair of the Nassau County chapter in 2009 and 2010. In that role, he led SCORE’s efforts to provide free counseling services to small businesses in Nassau County, New York. He has provided counseling to over 100 small businesses or people wanting to start their own business.
He has almost 30 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies and public accounting as an executive in financial, operational and strategic positions. He retired from Verizon as the Chief Financial Officer of the Retail Markets organization, the wireline sales and marketing business with over $20 billion in revenue and 30 million consumer and small business customers. He is also a CPA licensed in New York State.
