As a Vice President of Business Development for C2G, Dana is focused on achieving our client’s business objectives with experienced and professional consultants and proven business solutions. Dana brings more than 15 years of marketing, partnership, and product development experience. Prior to C2G she led a product marketing team at Etsy, spent 11 years at American Express, and has a background as a consultant at Deloitte.
Dana has spent most of her career working to improve customer experiences. Having worked on the full customer life cycle, she has led projects from research thru to implementation to optimize existing experiences and bring new products to market with goals to drive acquisition, spend and loyalty – in online and offline channels. She also brings partnership experience having worked on cobranded deals and partnerships to test new data and revenue generating initiatives.
Dana brings a deep understanding of financial services and enthusiasm for great customer experiences. Dana holds a BS in Finance from College at Old Westbury. In her personal time Dana likes to spend time at the beach and outdoors with her family. She also volunteers to coach kids soccer.
What does “customer driven” mean to you?
Being customer driven requires one to understand the needs of clients/ customers and the drivers of satisfaction in that business context. It is important to listen. Stop and listen to your customers. This is one of my favorite things to do in my job.
What is best about being part of C2G?
I love that Business Development at C2G allows me to add value to so many different areas of the business: it may be focusing on different customer bases, different business goals, or various marketing channels. It keeps me on my toes and allows me to work with a big group of talented people.
What are your favorite ways to collaborate with clients and co-workers?
Colleagues that work well together, have the most success together.
People thrive in an environment that frees them to collaborate and I do my best to invest time with colleagues and partners to brainstorm and learn from each other. However, I find it very important to be cognizant of others time. Working with the inevitable constraints of time – I love getting to know my colleagues both professionally and personally.
How do you drive results in your work?
I believe that understanding our customers is the best way to drive results. If we continue to focus on satisfaction of our stakeholders – including clients, customers and consultants – we will continue to be successful in our project work.
How do you build flexibility into your engagements?
The best way to successfully build flexibility into my engagements is to first set expectations with stakeholders and partners. I find that having this conversation early is welcomed and appreciated by my partners.
What is something that most people do not know about you?
As a child, I was an actress in a day time soap opera. It is not a career path I have followed, but was a fun activity I appreciated growing up.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
Outside of work, I am passionate about spending quality time with the people important in my life.
