What is best about being part of C2G?
C2G is a true ‘customer centric’ organization. We exist to deliver a need of our clients, and those needs are ever evolving. C2G’s model attracts great talent that we can all collaborate with and learn from, and then go on to provide exemplary service to our customers. As C2G continues to grow and diversify its service offerings, It will be exciting to be a part of it and to help fuel that growth.
What are your favorite ways to collaborate with clients and co-workers?
There are so many ways to collaborate in this day and age. For me, nothing beats being together in the same room and being able to have a dialogue. Throw in a white board and some markers so we can brainstorm, and you’ve got yourself a winning scenario. I also find that any chance to get out of the office and connect with people on a more personal level, goes a long way to building lasting relationships and connections.
How do you drive results in your work?
Driving results are about a few specific things. Typically when I set out to achieve something, first I want to have a clear idea of the most important metrics/goals that need to be achieved. Second, with the help of my team, I need to develop the right strategy and plan to deliver those, and third, I want to ensure I have the right talent on the job to achieve it. Once those three things are in place, I let my team go and do their magic. My job from that point is to clear the path and facilitate their success. If we have done our job on the first 3 items then the results should follow.
What is something that most people do not know about you?
I’m a firm believer in continual learning, and can be found sneaking in my reading time whenever I can. I ‘try’ to read at least one book every week or two. I probably don’t spend enough time reflecting on everything I’m learning – but I still get a lot out of it. The other thing most people don’t know is that this is the fourth country I have lived in. I have lived in Australia, Czech Republic, India, and now the USA at various points in my life. I truly love the opportunity to live somewhere and really understand and integrate into the local culture.
