Porasah works closely with both branch and corporate management to design, implement and sustain a strong internal control of our operating processes. In the past, Porasah has also worked with C2G in market research, social media support, operations and played a key role in the launch of the C2G 2009 book, “Black and White Strike Gold.”
Before joining C2G, Porasah worked as a Team Leader at American Express in the Consumer Travel Network Division, managing New York City area offices with AMEX’s broad range of integrated travel services. At American Express, Porasah trained, coached and managed staff throughout her career and participated in the new hire and recruiting process as well. Also at CTN, Porasah managed the New York offices’ marketing efforts, designing and launching strategic campaigns. As a result, Porasah has extensive experience in customer loyalty marketing. Her leadership qualities, rigorous attention to detail and strong background in compliance are critical to C2G’s internal operation.
Porasah is an avid reader and life-long musician, a lover of the performing and visual arts, and is happy to call New York home.
What does “customer driven” mean to you?
Proactively anticipating the needs of the client and making those needs a priority. Engaging the client always in a manner reflective of the highest value on the experience with professionalism and kindness/empathy.
What is best about being part of C2G?
C2G, as a small business, gives one the opportunity to learn new things constantly across several work streams that would not have been possible in a larger corporate environment. However, at the same time because of the Fortune 500 client base, there is the opportunity to engage in a corporate setting without the trappings of “corporate”.
What are your favorite ways to collaborate with clients and co-workers?
Taking ownership of their challenges/problems, working together and leveraging best practices for a seamless resolve that is a win win for everyone.
How do you drive results in your work?
My willingness to learn new things, sometimes out of my comfort zone, gives me an edge in my understanding of most aspects of the business, making it easier for my day to day. I take personal accountability for achieving individual and shared goals, planning well in advance to initiate action moving activities forward with minimal negative impact on the overall process.
How do you build flexibility into your engagements?
I always have a keen awareness of my tasks at hand, so whenever a need arises, I am fully prepared to switch gears to resolve any issues whether it is for our internal teams, clients or consultants, in a timely manner.
What is something that most people do not know about you?
I am a breast cancer survivor.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
Travelling and the Arts.
