Max is the Head of Data Science for C2G Partners. He is responsible for developing and delivering innovative solutions to improve clients’ market effectiveness, by using cutting-edge Data Science techniques to figure out the right offers to the right customers at the right time through the right media/channels.

Prior to C2G Partners, he worked as Advanced Analytics Expert / Predictive Analytics Lead for McKinsey & Company in the healthcare practice. He was responsible for developing and delivering predictive analytics solutions to improve healthcare clients’ economics, such as figuring out which products to offer to which customers to achieve the best LTV for each customer, and identifying which patients should be enrolled in intensive care management programs based on their predicted future events and potential spends.

Prior to McKinsey & Company, he worked as Advanced Analytics Lead at Merkle, a digital marketing agency. He was responsible for leading a team of Advanced Analytics professionals to design, develop and deliver advance analytics solutions to help target the right customers with right offers, measure marketing effectiveness and discover insights for clients’ customer acquisition and retention strategies.

Prior to Merkle, he worked as Sr. Statistician for Capital One. He was responsible for developing and validating predictive models to support customer acquisition, retention and cross-sell strategies. Max holds an MS Degree in Applied Statistics from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA. He is a Ph.D candidate in Engineering Science at LSU.

In his spare time, Max enjoys SI-FI like Dune, The Three-Body Problem and Babylon 5. He enjoys new age music like Enya. He is also an amateur Ping-Pong player and practices Kung Fu. Max lives in Ellicott City, MD with his wife and two children.

What does “customer driven” mean to you?

Customer driven means we work closely with our clients to develop and deliver customer-centric products/solutions that optimize customer value for our client.

What are your favorite ways to collaborate with clients and co-workers?

When we can sit together with our clients and co-workers to identify key pain points and develop solutions to turn pain points into opportunities for our clients, and to create impacts to the clients’ business together.

How do you drive results in your work?

I understand clients’ business needs and identify opportunities first, then work with clients to develop working solutions, and to help clients execute the solutions and measure the results.

How do you build flexibility into your engagements?

I make sure to be open to make changes to agreed-on plans, and come up with new solutions that deliver better results for our clients.
