Alisa brings over 25 years of business wisdom to her role as VP, Business Development for C2G. As team leader, consultant and small business owner, she is keenly attuned to people, process excellence, technology issues and always focused on improving bottom line results.
After a dozen years at American Express, she built a successful career as a consultant in financial services, publishing and consumer products. Over the course of her 15 years in consulting, she has launched new products and services, developed and implemented global business process change efforts, provided branding review, developed partnerships and inspired cross-functional teams. Clients have included American Express, Chase, Morgan Stanley, D & B, Prudential Life and The New York Times.
Throughout her career in advertising, fundraising and corporate marketing, she has always found that strong team collaboration provides the foundation for a solving all issues, simple or complex. She brings all her skills and insights to helping every client solve their most pressing marketing and business challenges.
Alisa has a BA with honors from Earlham College and an MS in Library and Information Technology from Columbia University. She is also certified as an Integral Coach® and has worked with numerous business leaders to improve their performance, leadership and transition skills. Alisa loves to cook and fortunately enjoys yoga and hiking in the woods near her NJ home.
What does “customer driven” mean to you?
Being customer driven means listening to understand and to help solve a pressing business or resource issue. It means we use all of our skills and expertise to make life simpler for our customers – we help them to succeed.
What are your favorite ways to collaborate with clients and co-workers?
I like to invest the time to get to know my colleagues (co-workers/clients/consultants). I enjoy learning about more than their work goals and accomplishments. The foundation we build with an authentic conversation leads us to effective, creative problem solving and a productive ongoing relationship.
How do you build flexibility into your engagements?
My close personal connection with my clients and consultants provides me with the insight to understand their evolving needs. I am always searching for a way to ensure a productive consultant and a satisfied client.
What is something that most people do not know about you?
I love being out in nature – the more remote the better. I’ve taken extended hiking trips in Yellowstone, Glacier and the Grand Canyon.
What are you passionate about outside of work?
I’m passionate about sharing my coaching work with clients and teams. I have worked with dozens of clients over the past 10 years. Many have been in career transition – moving into more senior roles, changing focus or starting their own businesses. I’ve created workshops on new approaches to time management and how to deepen our understanding of the power of our three thinking centers.
